Cabell GOP Announces “Revolution Weekend”

Monday, October 25, 2010

Immediate Release

72 Hours to Take Back West Virginia

HUNTINGTON – A year and a half of Tea Parties, town halls, and voter unrest have come down to one weekend.  Voters who have become increasingly concerned with the direction that the Obama administration is taking our country finally have the opportunity to make their voices heard.  Our country faces double-digit unemployment, staggering national debt and deficits, a coal-killing Cap & Trade bill, and the overreach of big government into our healthcare decisions.

Conservatives across Cabell County stand ready to send a message to Obama-Manchin-Rahall team: “We want our country back!”  The Cabell GOP needs your help to send this message to Washington, DC.  Join the Cabell GOP this weekend as they make telephone calls, go door-to-door, and place yard signs promoting conservative, principled candidates.

Please make plans to be a part of our “Super Saturday” volunteer effort. Our Victory Office, located at 313 9th Street in Huntington, will be open for volunteers during the following hours:

Friday: 10:00am – 9:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am – 9:00pm

Sunday: 1:30pm – 4:00pm

If you need any information, please contact us at info@cabellgop.com, or call Cabell GOP Chair Mike Ankrom at 304-617-6208.

Cabell County GOP Victory Office To Official Grandopening

The Cabell County Republican Executive Committee is pleased to announce the official grand opening of the Cabell GOP Victory Office. The event will kick off at 6pm with the official ribbon cutting. Candidates on the local, state, and federal levels will be on hand as the Cabell GOP joins together in preparation to work to make their voices heard. Mike Ankrom, Cabell County Republican Chairman says, “We have an opportunity to return our government back to, ‘WE THE PEOPLE.’ For far to long many of our elected officials have chosen not to listen to the people they represent. This year we have a chance to change that.” Members of the Cabell County Republican Party invite everyone to out and join with local, state and federal GOP candidates as they Race to Victory in November 2010.

Additionally, the Cabell County Executive Committee will also host a volunteer training session that will begin at 6:30 PM in the office training room. Everyone is invited to come and be apart of the evenings events.

BREAKING: Rasmussen- New Poll Finds Raese Gaining Momentum

Across the State, voters are coming to the realization that we cannot elect a Senator who will be a rubber stamp for Barack Obama.  As West Virginians continue to grow weary of Joe Manchin, who publicly endorsed Barack Obama for President in 2008, conservative Republican John Raese’s campaign has been rapidly gaining momentum and popularity.  A poll released by Rasmussen Reports this morning confirmed what many West Virginians already know: voters are looking to elect a Senator who will stand against the liberal Washington machine.  This morning’s poll find the underdog John Raese down by just 5 points to Joe Manchin, the establishment candidate: 50-45!
